GMGA Joins Atmos Energy and Sysco for Thanksgiving Giveaway to Serve the Community

The Good Men of Golf Association (GMGA) proudly partnered with Atmos Energy, Sysco Foods, and New Jerusalem Church to help host a heartfelt Thanksgiving Giveaway—bringing food, fellowship, and hope to families in need. The event was a powerful reminder of the impact that purpose-driven collaboration can have on a community, especially during the holiday season.

Rodney Harris, Vice President of GMGA, shared the spirit behind the event:"It's so important for us to put together this event because it gives all of us—Sysco Foods, Atmos Energy, New Jerusalem Church, and Good Men of Golf Association—the opportunity to give back to the community to those who are in need."

Volunteers from each organization worked side-by-side to distribute food items, spreading warmth and gratitude in every interaction. Pastor Dwayne Pickett of New Jerusalem Church echoed the importance of the effort:"The need in the community is great, and it's important for organizations to come together for the holidays."

The day was filled with purpose and positivity, embodying Sysco’s mission of “Connecting the world to share food and care for one another.”
